Brief Biodata

Gabriele is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the EW Barker Centre for Law & Business and an IP Law enthusiast. He holds a PhD from the University of Hong Kong and a Master Degree from the University of Catania (Italy). His PhD dissertation focused on clinical trials protection in both multilateral and bilateral international treaties. Besides IP and pharmaceuticals, his research interests comprise copyright and trademark law, as well as the regulation of emerging technologies. Before joining the academic community, Gabriele collaborated with the European Patent Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
