Brief Biodata

Kevin is an independent practitioner in public international law, investment treaty arbitration and international commercial disputes. His recent practice highlights include acting as counsel in the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, as well as advising a sovereign mediator in an inter-State maritime boundary dispute. He has also been engaged by the Council of Europe as expert consultant on legal reforms to the laws of arbitration for the Republic of Armenia. Before assuming independent practice, Kevin was a member of the legal staff of the PCA in the Peace Palace, The Hague, where he worked under the auspices of the PCA for arbitral tribunals in State-to-State, investor-State, and State contract disputes. In addition to his casework, Kevin regularly delivers training and lectures to State officials and universities on topics in international law and international arbitration. An NUS LLB alumnus and Jessup mooter, Kevin also holds a first class LL.M. from the University of Cambridge.
