Professor Awrey is a University Lecturer in Law and Finance and Fellow with Linacre College in Oxford University, Faculty of Law. He is currently a candidate in D.Phill in Oxford University, Faculty of Law. He is also a Fellow with George Washington University in the Center for Law (Economics & Finance) and a Convener in Oxford Senior Practitioner Lecture Series in Law and Finance. His recent publications include “Complexity, Innovation and the Regulation of Modern Financial Markets”, “The Limits of EU Hedge Fund Regulation” and “Regulating Financial Innovation: A More Principles-based Alternative?”

Professor Calboli is the Director of Intellectual Property and Technology Program at Marquette University Law School. She held visiting positions in various institutions like TC Beirne School of Law, Justus Liebig University Law School, DePaul University College of Law, etc.. She has a LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a LLB and a Doctorate of Research in Intellectual Property and Antitrust Law from the University of Bologna School of Law.

Professor Cameron is the Director and Professor of International Energy Law and Policy at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee (UK). He is a barrister and member of Middle Temple Inn of Court, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK and a member of the London Court of International Arbitration. He is also an honorary Professorial Fellow at the Europa Institute of Edinburgh University.

Professor Christie is a Professor at Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne. He was the founding Director of the Intellectual Property Institute of Australia (IPRIA), a national centre for multi-disciplinary research in the law, economics and management of intellectual property, established at the University of Melbourne in 2002. He has received national and international recognition for his excellence in teaching and research. In July 2005, he was identified by the leading international magazine Managing IP as one of the world’s 50 most influential people in intellectual property. Professor Christie was invited to teach an intensive course in Cyber Law in August 2011.

Professor Duggan is a Lacobucci Chair and Professor with Faculty of Law in University of Toronto and a Professorial Fellow with Faculty of Law in University of Melbourne. He teaches subjects relation to secured transactions, trusts and bankruptcy law. He is writing a book with David Brown on Australian Personal Property Securities Law which is expected to be published end of 2012.

Professor Ferrari is a Full Professor of International Law at the Verona University School of Law, Italy. He is an Inge Rennert Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law and Director for Center Transnational Litigation and Commercial Law at the New York University School of Law, USA. He has been teaching at the NUS Faculty of Law as a Visiting Professor since 2007.

Professor Lombardi is an Associate Professor at the School of Law of University of Washington. He has established himself as an expert in Islamic Law. He is the author of State Law as Islamic Law in Modern Egypt: The Incorporation of the Shari’a into Egyptian Constitutional Law (Leiden: Brill, 2006) and numerous articles in leading law journals. He has several accolades to his credit, including a fellowship as a Carnegie Scholar from January 2007-2009, to conduct research into Islamic and Constitutional Law in Muslim countries around the world.

Dr Martha is the General Counsel of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (Rome, Italy), which is the specialized agency responsible for investment in food production and agricultural development in developing countries. Previously he was the General Counsel at the International Criminal Police Organization in France. He was an adjunct Professor of Law at the Washington College of Law (American University, Washington, D.C.) in the year 1998 to 1989 and member of the Legal Department of the International Monetary Fund from 1987 to 1990. He has been teaching at the NUS Faculty of Law as a Distinguished Visitor since 2007 and as a Visiting Professor since 2010.

Professor Mendes de Leon is the Professor of Air and Space Law and the Head of the Department of Air and Space Law with the Faculty of Law in Leiden University. He is the president of the European Air Law Association. He is actively conducting research and issuing publications in the field of air law, including a doctoral thesis (with honours) on “Cabotage in Air Transport Regulation”.

Professor Noble is a tenured Professor of Law at New York University School of Law, on leave of absence while serving as Interpol’s Secretary General. An expert on federal criminal law as well as international law enforcement, he served as assistant secretary for enforcement at the U.S. Treasury Department and then as the Treasury’s undersecretary for enforcement.
