The Sixth Annual Conference on Environmental Taxation was held in Leuven, Belgium, on September 22-24, 2005. Hosted by the Institute of Environmental and Energy Law at the University of Leuven, it focused on the role of economic instruments in encouraging the use of renewable energy.

The Seventh Annual Conference on Environmental Taxation was held in Ottawa, Canada, on October 20-22, 2006. Hosted by the Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa, the conference focused on moving from theory to practice, i.e. on concrete concerns regarding the implementation of environmental taxation. | ![]() |
