DECISION ON PROMULGATION OF REGULATIONS
AND ORGANIZATION OF THE APPRAISAL COUNCIL
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT
AND ISSUING ENVIRONMENTAL LICENSE

THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT
  • Pursuant to the Resolution No. 22/CP dated 22 May 1993 of the Government on the functions, responsibilities and organization of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment.
  • Pursuant to Article 17, 18 on the appraisal Report of the Environmental Impact Assessment of all Units that have been operating before issuing the Environmental Protection Law and of all Development projects and further pursuant to Article 37, 38 of the State Management on environmental protection and State Management Agency on environmental protection.
  • Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 175/CP on October 18, 1994 on "The Guidance for the Implementation of Law on Environmental Protection".
DECIDES

Article 1

Hereby issuing attached to this decision the regulation and organizational structure of the Appraisal Council on Environmental Impact Assessment Report and issuing Environmental Licence.

Article 2

The beneficiaries applicable to this regulation are projects, businesses, production, socio-cultural, medical units ... etc. as regulated at article 17, 18 of the Environmental Protection Law and Article 9, 11, 14, 15 of the Government Decree 175/CP.

Article 3

All State management Agencies on Environmental protection and all beneficiaries mentioned in the Article 2 of this decision and other related agencies are responsible for implementation of this decision since the signed date.
