ASEAN WEN/APCEL/UNODC Regional Stakeholders Law & Policy Workshop on Wildlife Crime (by invitation only), 8 – 10 December 2014, Faculty of Law, NUS 

APCEL, together with ASEAN’s Wildlife Enforcement Network (ASEAN-WEN) and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) hosted the first ASEAN-WEN Regional Stakeholders Law & Policy Workshop on Wildlife Crime. It was held at the Law Faculty, National University of Singapore, 8-10 December 2014. This Workshop focused on mapping the legal and other resources available and strategizing on how best to utilize these resources to combat wildlife crime.

(Associate Member, APCEL) jointly presented a paper on “Current Laws to Preserve Our Wetlands - National, Regional (ASEAN) and International Perspectives”. Prof KL Koh (Hon Director, APCEL) and Prof LH Lye were facilitators for the break-out group sessions. Prof Lye was also a moderator for Session 7
