Guidelines for Paper Submission
(applicable to presenters whose abstracts have been accepted)

  1. Author’s Title & Name, University/Organization, Paper Title and Email Address to be stated clearly on the cover page of the paper.
     
  2. Length - Approximately 8,000 words and no more than 10,000 words, inclusive of footnotes. Please adhere strictly to this requirement.
     
  3. Font - Size 12, Times New Roman
     
  4. One and a half spacing of text throughout
     
  5. Microsoft Word Document Format
     
  6. Papers to be sent to asiansil-admin@nus.edu.sg by 31 July 2009 at the latest.
     

 

Guidelines for Presentation
(applicable to presenters whose abstracts have been accepted)

The language of presentation is English. The presentation venues are equipped with a computer and LCD projector. Speakers who wish to use Microsoft PowerPoint slides to present their papers should save their slides onto a USB drive or CD for this purpose.

All conference papers will be published as "working papers" on the AsianSIL website. A select number of accepted papers will subsequently be considered for formal publication in a special section of the Singapore Year Book of International Law.
