In subsequent years, the annual conferences have been held at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok (2005); East China University of Politics and Law in Shanghai (2006); University of Indonesia in Jakarta (2007); National University of Singapore (2008); University of Hong Kong (2009); International Islamic University of Malaysia (2010); Kyushu University (2011); National University of Singapore (2012); National Law School of India University, Bangalore (2013) ;University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur (2014); National Taiwan University (2015) and Peking University Law School (2016).
ASLI welcomes academics and intellectuals from within and outside Asia to attend and present papers. The conference is open to all, papers presenters and non-presenters. We encourage individuals to use the conference as a meeting place for scholars interested in Asia-related legal issues to come together and exchange ideas, as well as to form close working and personal relationships.
