Synopsis
Drawing upon his 30+ years of leadership experience at the worldwide helm of Jones Day, Steve Brogan will explore the state of the legal profession today and the issues that it currently faces. In the course of his talk, he will discuss what makes for effective leadership in a law firm, especially given the evolving legal landscape, and will delve into the intricacies of personal and organizational leadership that equip individuals to navigate through the different stages of their careers.

Stephen J. Brogan (Steve)
Partner, Jones Day
Steve Brogan served as Managing Partner of Jones Day from 2002 through 2022. He also was Partner-in-Charge of the Firm’s Washington Office from 1989 through 2002. He has a broad and extensive practice in complex litigation matters, including securities, banking, contests for corporate control, corporate criminal investigations, product liability, independent counsel investigations, and qui tam actions.
