Synopsis
Want to know how you make a great first impression, answer interview questions effectively and land the internship or training contract you want? Attend this workshop and hear from our guest speakers from Providence Law Asia LLC and Careers Advisors about what employers look out for at interviews.
We will also cover:
- different interview formats and how to best prepare for them
- common types of interview questions and frameworks you can use to build good answers
And you’ll have the opportunity to practice your interview skills and receive feedback in mock interview exercises.
About the Speakers
Hari Veluri
Counsel, Providence Law Asia LLC
Hari covers a variety of complex commercial disputes ranging from general contractual and shareholder disputes to intellectual property, trust, and commercial fraud litigation. He has amassed considerable experience both in trials before the High Court and in appeals before the Court of Appeal.
Hari’s main areas of practice are Fraud & Asset Tracing, Commercial Litigation, and Shareholder and Joint Venture Disputes.
Hari maintains a deep passion for advocacy and has argued a variety of interlocutory applications before the High Court and the Court of Appeal. He also actively takes on criminal cases on a pro bono basis under the auspices of the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS) and the Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics (HOME).
While at NUS, Hari participated in the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition in The Hague, Netherlands. He was awarded the Best Victims’ Legal Representative and the Best Oralist for the Preliminary Rounds.
Anne-Marie George
People Services Manager, Providence Law Asia LLC
Anne-Marie has 20 years experience in human resources, recruitment, administration, and office management from within a variety of multicultural industries both in Singapore and the Middle East.
Her strengths are in the areas of recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, talent management and compensation & benefits.
As People Services Manager at Providence her role is to deliver a seamless and positive experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Leading with care and empathy, her goal is to develop efficient processes and policies so people can focus on doing what they do best.
She is an Adult Mental Health First Aider, CPR AED provider and under training as an internal coach.
