The Continuing Legal Education Programme comprises a range of events. It aims to provide an avenue for the Faculty to engage the legal community in professional dialogue, particularly on recent developments; it also hopes to provide a forum for the dissemination of views and sharing of expertise relating to particular areas of law.

These events are held throughout the year and take a variety of forms, including seminars held at Faculty premises (traditionally called ‘staff seminars’) to which members of the public are welcome, special courses on specialized topics, sometimes tailored to meet the needs of external bodies, and public seminars, which are often conducted, for the convenience of the legal profession, at venues closer to the heart of the city.

The Committee members are:

Assoc Prof Yeo Hwee Ying (Director)
Prof Amirthalingam Kumaralingam
Assoc Prof Chan Wing Cheong
Assoc Prof Barry Crown
Ms Jean Ho
Assoc Prof Loy Wee Loon
Assoc Prof Tey Tsun Hang

Critical to the day-to-day administration of the CLE programme is an administrative team. It consists of Ms Connie Yew and Ms Poovanaswari Nagaraja.
