Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law (9th Intake)

August 2009 to April 2010

R & D work in the sciences, particularly in the life sciences and information technology, is given top priority in Singapore's new economy. In order to cater to the rise in demand to patent any innovations and inventions resulting from such R & D work, there is a need to build up a local profession of patent agents to draft and file patent applications.

The Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law is a foundation law course suitable for those training to become registered patent agents in Singapore. Successful completion of this certification course is one of the pre-requisites for admission onto the register of patent agents in Singapore.

This course is jointly organised by the IP Academy (Singapore) and the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore.
