Graduate Certificate in
Intellectual Property Law
July 2008 to April 2009
R & D work in the sciences, particularly in the life sciences and information technology,
is given top priority in Singapore's new economy. In order to cater to the rise in demand
to patent any innovations and inventions resulting from such R & D work, there is a need
to build up a local profession of patent agents to draft and file patent applications.
The Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore and the IP Academy will be
conducting the Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law course from July 2004.
