Total number of credits differs for students enrolled in the
Double-Degree Programmes.
^ Failure to obtain a pass in the
compulsory subject will mean that a student will not be able to proceed with
the specialist LLM programme. Instead, the student will be considered to
have enrolled for the general LLM programme and will be awarded the general
LLM degree upon completion of the course. The credits obtained from the
compulsory subject are counted towards the specialization.

Students in the NYU@NUS Double Degree Programme
who have read and passed L53.2010 Corporations
during the NYU Summer Term are deemed to have read and passed Company Law at
NUS or its equivalent in a common law jurisdiction.
- Pre-emption policy for NYU@NUS Double Degree Programme.
Students are generally pre-empted from reading subjects that are
substantially similar with other subjects they have taken before. Please
see table below for the pre-emption for AY2009/10:

- Students are required to select their subjects in consultation with
their supervisor(s).
- CGRP
candidates who wish to request for a partial waiver of coursework
requirement should write a formal request to the Vice-Dean, Research &
Graduate Studies (alantan@nus.edu.sg).
B.
Registration for Law Subjects
- Subjects which are opened to each programme are denoted by the following
subject codes:
LLM students - LC5xxx or LL5xxx
CGRP/PhD students - LC6xxx or LL6xxx
Please ensure that you select only subjects appropriate for
your programme.

* Students will be allocated their next subject based on the schema
published on
http://law.nus.edu.sg/current/ay0910/infoall.htm
- Registration for Semester
2 subjects will begin on
Monday, 26 October 2009, 9am. The deadline for registration is
Thursday, 29 October 2009, 5pm.
- [Fri 30 Oct] Subject registration is now closed.
C.
Registration for Non-Law Subjects
- Students who wish to read a non-law subject must submit the completed
application form
to the Graduate Division by
the deadline indicated on the application form.
- Students should register for sufficient credits of Law subjects during
the Semester 1 Online Subject Registration. If the applications for
non-law subjects are successful, students will be required to drop the
relevant credits of Law subjects in order to add the non-law subjects.
- Please
refer to the websites of non-Law Departments/Faculties for lists of
subjects available.
D.
Release of Subject Registration Outcome
-
The results
of the subject registration for Semester 2 will be published on our website
http://law.nus.edu.sg/current/Postgraduate/curriculum_courses.htm
by Tuesday, 10 November 2009, 6pm.

Students will not be allocated subjects
that have clashes in class timetable or end-of-semester exam timetable.
