Personal Property Law II - Intangible

Course Description:
Taking up where the course on personal property law leaves off, this course is built around four themes: (1) the de-physicalisation of personal property (which may include the commercial appropriation of personality); (2) property interests in money and financial assets; (3) security interests in personal property; and (4) priorities. All four themes are essential in modern commercial practice and this course will provide a strong complement to specialised courses in commercial law and a satisfying conclusion to the existing course on personal property.

Prerequisites: NUS Compulsory Core Law Curriculum or equivalent. Personal Property Law (students who have or are offering Personal Property Law)
