Brief Biodata

Debbie Ong teaches Family Law, Law & Sociology of the Family and the Law of Torts at the NUS Faculty of Law and publishes mainly in the area of family law. She has served as a Court Mediator in the Family Court for a decade and currently serves as Vice-Chairperson of the Law Society's Family Law Practice Committee. She is also a member of the International Advisory Board of the Child & Family Law Quarterly journal. Debbie enjoys being involved in projects which further the development of a good family justice system. Believing in the need for community support for families in Singapore, she has also been chairing the Centre Governance Board of the Tampines Family Service Centre for a number of years and is presently on the Advisory Board of 'Marriage Central'.
