The Regulatory State: Sovereign Wealth Funds
 

Brief Biodata

Yvonne CL Lee's teaching portfolio comprises corporation law, administrative and constitutional law. Her research and writing interests include international economic law, public regulation, corporate governance, administrative and constitutional law. Prior to joining NUS, she served as an inhouse legal counsel at Temasek Holdings for several years. She provided legal advice in relation to direct investments, and private equity fund investments in various jurisdictions such as Australia, China, Europe, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, South Korea and the U.S. She had oversight of the regulatory disclosure system relating to Temasek Holdings and its group companies in various jurisdictions. She previously practised corporate law in Singapore for several years - she provided legal advice in relation to joint ventures involving cross border transactions, syndicated loan & security transaction, land development and corporate finance transactions, and was the co-counsel in a novel litigation relating to infringement of intellectual property rights by way of deep hyper-linking and framing on the Internet.
