The competition will be held on 27th and 28th October 2007 at the Radisson Hotel in New Delhi, India, and will focus on the resolution of commercial disputes arising out of infrastructure and construction projects. Associate Professor Alan Tan, Vice-Dean of Research and Graduate Studies, says NUS Law is delighted to be involved with K äden Boriss and SIAC as co-organiser and sponsor of the inaugural competition. "As Asia's Global Law School, NUS Law has long been at the forefront of international co-operation in legal education, including faculty research collaborations and student mooting competitions. Our support for this Moot Competition also underlines our belief in the emergence of South Asia as a leading provider of legal services. This is reflected in the ever-growing enrolment of South Asian students in our LLM and PhD graduate programmes every year, and NUS Law hopes to continue to play a role in enhancing the quality of legal education in Asia and beyond", adds Assoc.
