Professor Tan Cheng Han SC elected to IALS Board

Professor Tan Cheng Han SC has been elected to the Board of the International Association of Law Schools on 25 May 2009 at its General Assembly held in Canberra.

The International Association of Law Schools (IALS) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2005 with a membership of educational institutions, associations, and legal educators from throughout the world. Its members are committed to the proposition that the quality of legal education in any society is improved when students learn about other cultures and legal systems and the diverse approaches to solving legal problems employed in those legal systems.
