LL.B. Programmes

The Bachelor of Laws degree is not only an undergraduate honours degree, it is also a professional degree that is recognised for admission to practice in Singapore. Our graduates have also been admitted to practice in Malaysia, in several Commonwealth jurisdictions and some states in the U.S.

The majority of the LL.B. students enters the Faculty of Law after completing their pre-university studies and does a four-year LL.B. Degree. Some students enter the Faculty after completing a first degree at a university in another discipline, known as the Graduate LL.B. Programme (GLP). Students in this Programme can complete their LL.B. Degree in three years.

NEW! Applications are invited for a special admission exercise for Semester 2 AY2009-10 from students who are currently law students in another university and wish to seek admission to the 4-year LL.B. programme.

Please contact the Office of Admissions (email: oamszk@nus.edu.sg) for enquiries pertaining the application procedure. The application closing date is Monday, 16 November 2009. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by the Faculty of Law and must undergo an interview and a written test in Singapore in the second or third week of December 2009.
