Research Programmes

Master of Laws (LLM)

Candidates for the LLM by Research must possess a good bachelor’s degree in Law. The candidate has to submit a thesis of not more than 40,000 words, written under the close supervision of a member of the academic staff. LLM by Research candidates are also required to take and pass three courses in their first year. Most LLM by Research candidates complete their thesis within one year to one and a half years. The minimum period of candidature is one year, and the maximum three years.
