Microsoft Scholarship for LLM (Intellectual Property & Technology Law)

Eligibility

Outstanding international applicants of any nationality may be awarded the Microsoft Scholarship to pursue the LLM (Intellectual Property & Technology Law) degree.
Interested applicants can apply for the scholarship by completing the relevant section in the application form for coursework programmes.

Terms of award

  1. There is no bond or obligation on the scholar to serve the University or the sponsor or to work in Singapore. The scholar may therefore complete the designated degree and return to the home country.


  2. The scholar will be provided with

    1. A monthly stipend of S$600 throughout the period of award (August – May);
    2. A once-only air travel allowance of S$700 directly from the home country to Singapore;
    3. Health Insurance administered by the Registrar’s Office (Group Medical Insurance Scheme); and
    4. Tuition, examination fees and other approved fees at NUS as stated on the NUS Student Bill.
     
  3. The scholarship may not, without the prior approval of the Dean, be held concurrently with any other award.
    No award will be made unless there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
