Scholarships & Financial Assistance

Faculty Graduate Scholarship (FGS)

Eligibility
Outstanding applicants of any nationality (including Singapore citizens and permanent residents) may be awarded the FGS to pursue the LLM coursework degrees:

• LLM

• LLM (Asian Legal Studies)

• LLM (Corporate & Financial Services Law)

• LLM (Intellectual Property & Technology Law)

• LLM (International & Comparative Law)

• LLM (Maritime Law)

Terms of award
There is no bond of obligation on the scholar to serve the University or in Singapore. The scholar will be provided with

1. A monthly stipend of S$600 throughout the period of award (August to May);
A once-only air travel allowance of S$700 directly from the home country to Singapore;
Health Insurance administered by the Registrar’s Office (Group Medical Insurance Scheme); and
4. Tuition, examination fees and other approved fees at NUS as stated on the NUS Student Bill.

Interested applicants can apply for the FGS by completing the relevant section in the application form for coursework programmes.
