Scholarship for Young Asian Academics

Eligibility

1.  The scholarship is tenable for full-time coursework programmes leading to the degree of Master of Laws (LL.M.) or any of the specialist LL.M. degrees at this University. 

2.   Applicants must be holding academic appointments at higher-learning institutions and be university graduates with an LL.B. degree or equivalent. 

3.  The scholarship is available for award to outstanding Asian applicants, except Singapore citizens and permanent residents.  

Terms of Award

There is no bond of obligation on the scholar to serve the University or in Singapore. The scholar will be provided with

• A monthly stipend of S$300 throughout the period of award (Aug -May )



• A once-only air travel allowance of maximum S$700



• Group Medical Insurance Scheme administered by the NUS Registrar’s Office



• Tuition, examination fees and other approved fees at NUS as stated on the NUS Student Bill

Interested applicants can apply for the Scholarship by completing the relevant section in the application form for coursework programmes.
