NUS Law Excels in Inaugural Pan Asian Human Rights Mooting Competition

Congratulations to Joshua Phang ’19, Darren Sim ’20 and Glenn Sim ’19 for coming in as first runners up at the inaugural Pan Asian Human Rights Mooting Competitions, organised and hosted by the University of Hong Kong!

The team faced intense competition from schools like Hong Kong University, Singapore Management University, Peking University and Monash University, but managed to setup a semi-final clash against Peking University. In a closely contested final, the University of Philippines took home the top prize, with NUS Law coming in at a very commendable second.

The team would like to thank their coaches, Associate Professor Lim Lei Theng ’92, Professor Simon Chesterman, Dean of NUS Law, Alvin Yap ’12, Daryl Yong ’15, David Isidore Tan ’16, Victor Leong ’16 and all the other seniors and coaches who helped the team along the way.
