The Singapore Green Plan 2030 has become the blueprint for Singapore’s sustainability transition – but how is it shaping the laws that both people and businesses must navigate? Five years after its launch, this panel brings together leading environmental law practitioners to examine how the Green Plan has influenced legal and regulatory developments across areas such as climate change, carbon markets, energy, transport and the built
environment. Looking ahead to 2030, the discussion will explore what legal reforms may still lie ahead, and what these developments mean for Singaporeans and businesses alike. This event will also mark the release of the newly updated Singapore chapter of the International Encyclopaedia of Laws: Environmental Law.
