This event is part of  APCEL’s Environmental Law Student Outreach Programme that aims to introduce pre-tertiary students (from Secondary school onwards) to key ideas and concepts about environmental law.

Our goal is to plant seeds of knowledge and equip the next generation of changemakers to engage with laws and policies to protect our natural world.

During these sessions, APCEL’s legal experts and researchers will address topics such as:

• What are environmental laws and their principles?
• How are international environmental laws made and implemented?
• How are national governments involved in international and national environmental lawmaking?
• How does science interact with laws?
• How Singapore is using laws and policies to solve environmental problems?
