The Global Environmental Measurement and Monitoring (GEMM) Initiative aims to drive innovation of environmental technologies. During COP26, the GEMM Scottish Centre at the University of Strathclyde collaborated with the City of Glasgow; University of California, Berkeley; Stanford University; the Met Office; and the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) organised a summit to explore aspects of greenhouse gas monitoring and mitigation plans. Our Director, Jolene Lin, participating in the panel for Economic and Legal Perspectives. She presented her research on how Asian cities have been moving towards carbon neutrality and the role that initiatives like GEMM in supporting this movement.
