Description

Since 2022, the ASEAN Environmental Rights Working Group (AER Working Group), established by the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR),  have been developing a regional framework for the promotion of environmental rights. We invite all in ASEAN to join the consultation to foster further discussions and enrich the substance of the instrument. The inputs will be collected and presented to the AER Working Group for consideration in the draft, for eventual approval by AICHR and the ASEAN member states.
