People often think that they cannot participate in the work of the IPCC, and only elite scientists can be part of the IPCC’s activities.  As a scientific body, the IPCC’s relationship with its member governments is not always understood. Some people see the IPCC as a research body for climate change.  These are  just  a  few  of  the  myths  about  the  IPCC that this webinar aims to debunk. We introduce the institution, its roles, its process of work, and introduce the people who work for IPCC, including its authors.
