Dr Linda Yanti speaks on environmental reporting in the SIF Impact Media Fellowship 2021

APCEL Senior Research Fellow, Linda Yanti Sulistiawati, joins David Fogarty (The Straits Times) and Sharon Seah (ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute) in this panel discussion on ‘Climate Change – Stories Beyond the News Cycle’ organised by Singapore International Foundation as part of its SIF Impact Media Fellowship 2021.

The discussion first explores how environment reporting can become a priority in the newsroom. Beyond, traditional investigative journalism that shames those who have contributed to the climate crisis, this session will expose other approaches, such as implanting a code of ethics for the newsroom which can enable journalists to “give a voice to the voiceless”.
