APCEL’S SRF Dr. Linda Yanti Sulistiawati attended the Conference of Improving Cross Agency Responses to Biological Threats & Environmental Crimes Across the Borders of the GMS (Greater Mekong Subregion) that took place on 21-24 MARCH 2023 at The Banyan Tree Hotel, Bangkok. She served as a facilitator for the conference, which was organized by: Asian Development Bank (ADB), Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC), Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and The British Medical Journal (BMJ). The conference discussed cross-border biological risk landscapes, explored challenges and opportunities in building partnerships between traditional and emerging One Health actors and aimed to discuss how to resource and build enhanced multi-agency health-security early warning surveillance capabilities in the Greater Mekong Region.
