IPCC Scoping Meeting in Riga, Latvia, 16-19 April 2024

APCEL’s Senior Research Fellow, Dr. Linda Yanti Sulistiawati, attended the IPCC Scoping Meeting for the Special Report on Climate Change and Cities in Riga Latvia, from 16-19 April 2024.  The Special Report on Climate Change and Cities is envisaged to include aspects of biophysical, impacts and risks including economic and non-economic loss and damages, sectoral development, adaptation and mitigation responses to loss and damages, energy and emissions, governance, policy, institutions, planning, and finance. The draft outline is discussed and adopted in this meeting, while the Special report itself is predicted to be ready in 2027.
