Asia-Pacific Judicial Conference on Climate Change: Adjudication in the Time of COVID-19

On Friday 20th November, APCEL’s director Jolene Lin took part in a webinar recording which has been launched ahead of the opening of the conference “Asia-Pacific Judicial Conference on Climate Change: Adjudication in the time of Covid-19”. This year, the conference is co-organised by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Asia Development Bank and ClientEarth.
The webinar brought together 4 experts, including 3 senior judges with deep experience of environmental law adjudication. Judges can play a key role in a world of accelerating climate change coupled with the Covid-19 pandemic.
Jolene’s presentation, “Strategic Climate Litigation in the Wake of COVID-19″ is now online at: https://www.ajne.org/video/introductory-session-judges-emergency-and-disaster-managers
