In this article, APCEL Senior Research Fellow Linda Yanti Sulistiawati argues that although environmental rights as human rights is very hard to implement in ASEAN, it is not an impossible task. Each ASEAN Member State may have different ways in dealing with the issue, but all of them are parties to the UN and the 2015 Paris Agreement which obliges them to do so.
