Youth Ecosperity Dialogue 5-10 June 2023

APCEL’s Senior Research Fellow, Dr. Linda Yanti Sulistiawati was invited to speak at the Youth Ecosperity Dialogue 5-10 June 2023.  Dr. Sulistiawati spoke on Session “Regional Outlook: Transboundary Narratives in Southeast Asia’s Climate Crisis” on 8 June 2023.  Her talk focuses on ASEAN Member Countries’ commitment to implementing the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), at the national and sub-national levels. Based on her research of the current regulations and policies in the sub-national levels of Indonesia and the Philippines, ASEAN Member Countries need to increase their efforts in seriously implementing their NDCs in the sub-national levels. Participants of the Dialogue was 100 student environment leaders from universities, polytechnics, junior colleges, and International Baccalaureate schools from Singapore and across Asia.  The core part of the Dialogue was to enable participants to engage in a dynamic conversation with leading experts and innovators in the fields of business, cities, and sustainability.
