Research Project

The Green Swan Initiative (A NUS Resilience and Growth (R&G) Innovation Challenge project)

This Green Swan Initiative aims to facilitate Singapore’s financial shift to a low carbon economy. By utilising an interdisciplinary and multi-stakeholder approach, the project undertakes an unprecedented mapping of the investment landscape in Singapore in relation to climate risk management, with the aim of creating the first ever evidence base for proposing policy solutions. Building on this evidence base, the project will benchmark domestic standards with global standards to generate policy proposals.
