Selene was appointed as a Sheridan Fellow in 2023 and teaches Principles of Property Law.

Selene is currently working on a project analysing how climate-related disclosures feature in capital markets regulation and such disclosures’ potential as a tool for climate governance. She has presented her findings as a guest lecturer, at research workshops, and at the international IUCN Environmental Law Colloquium 2022. In addition, she was the Open Category 2nd Runner Up in the CCCS-ESS 2022 national essay competition on ‘Environmental Sustainability: The Role of Competition and Consumer Protection Laws and Policies’.

Passionate about environmental advocacy and education, Selene launched APCEL’s first Student Outreach Programme pilot in 2022, which is designed to introduce pre-university students to international and domestic environmental law and policy. Selene continues to lead this community programme, which is now a permanent offering at APCEL.

Outside of work, Selene serves as the Special Projects Commissioner of Girl Guides Singapore. She contributes her passion for and experience in sustainability to create programmes for all members across Singapore to engage with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
