[Virtual Roundtable #17] ‘Constitutional Amendments’

November 11, 2021 | Impact, Research, School

Virtual Roundtable #17 on “Constitutional Amendments” took place earlier today, with esteemed panelists discussing the pathbreaking book ‘Constitutional Amendments: Making, Breaking, and Changing Constitutions’ (Oxford 2019). Authored by Richard Albert, the volume provides the first comprehensive comparative study of constitutional amendment rules around the world.

Moderated by Andrew Harding, Richard Albert was joined by Virginie Kuoch, Sharowat Shamin and Khemthong Tonsakulrungruang, having an insightful discussion around the applicability of the book for a diverse range of jurisdictions in Asia, including Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
