CALS Director Associate Professor Jaclyn Neo Speaks on a Panel Marking the German Law Journal’s 25th Anniversary

CALS Director, Associate Professor Jaclyn Neo, was invited to speak on a panel marking the German Law Journal’s 25th Anniversary on 20 September 2024 in Berlin, Germany. The programme opened with reflections from the journal’s founding editor, Professor Russell Miller, and two keynote presentations from the German Justice Minister, Marco Buschmann, and Minister of Justice for Poland, Adam Bodnar.  It was followed by lively discussions featuring the Journal’s founding editors and its current leadership.  Associate Professor Neo’s panel, an assembly of “scholarly luminaries from around the world”, was asked to close by reflecting on the future of legal scholarship, the Journal’s future and the legal issues that might fill its pages for the next 25 years.  The day ended with a celebratory toast and dinner.
