
Centre for Asian Legal Studies – Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law Peer Learning Initiative (CAJPLI)
The Centre for Asian Legal Studies – Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law Peer Learning Initiative, or CAJPLI, is a student-led project that was started in 2025 with the long-term goal of promoting direct knowledge exchange and academic collaboration between the law students at the National University of Singapore and Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law.
CAJPLI’s inaugural workshop titled “An Introduction to the Basics of Singapore Contract Law” seeks to introduce Bhutanese law students to the basic principles of contract law in Singapore. Organised and conducted by students from the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore, this workshop consists of seven two-hour sessions and will be conducted entirely in-person at the Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law from Thursday, 17 September 2026, to Sunday, 27 September 2026.
