Description

Jointly organised by the Centre for Asian Legal Studies, INSOL International (Asia Hub), and Allen & Gledhill LLP, the event titled ‘Singapore’s Latest Insolvency Reforms: What Will They Mean in Practice?’ will be held on Friday, 30 October 2026.

It follows the Singapore Government’s broad acceptance of recommendations to reform Singapore’s corporate restructuring and insolvency framework, including changes to cross-class cramdowns and the proposed adoption of the UNCITRAL Model Law on Recognition and Enforcement of Insolvency-Related Judgments.

The event will bring together practitioners and other stakeholders to discuss the practical implications of these reforms, with the aim of exchanging perspectives across professional disciplines.

Law students from the National University of Singapore are welcome to attend the event online on a complimentary basis.
