Description
This Roundtable will present the speakers’ perspectives on how contractual obligations and business rules in regions like South Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East and Europe have been affected by Covid-19. The discussion will look at how recent conditions – including government regulations to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and other regional/local developments have impacted the understanding of contract law. We will also discuss the future of such changes in terms of its permanent effects, if any, on extant laws. An example of this is whether debt relief will be necessary going forward.
