The Faculty of Law, Thammasat University in partnership with the Centre for Asian Legal Studies, National University of Singapore, will hold a public webinar on the topic of Women in Law: Asian Perspectives, on Friday 30 April 2021, 15.00-17.00 (Bangkok time).

At this event, Professor Mindy Chen-Wishart, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Oxford University, Dr Vilawan Manglatanakul, Director-General of the Department of Treaties and Law at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and Associate Professor Jaclyn Neo, Director of the Centre for Asian Legal Studies at the National University of Singapore will share their experiences and discuss the challenges facing women working in the field of law. In particular, the discussion will focus on Asian perspectives on the issues, drawing on the three highly distinguished speakers’ experiences in their different career paths. The webinar will be moderated by Thitirat Thipsamritkul, of the Faculty of Law, Thammasat University.
