South Asian Research Colloquium (SARC) on Constitutional Law 2021 – 22

The South Asian Research Colloquium (SARC) on Constitutional Law 2021 – 22 was launched recently with an inaugural session on 15 January 2022. The session featured several guest speakers, including Professor Richard Albert (University of Texas at Austin), Professor Hanna Lerner (Tel Aviv University) and Justice Mohan Peiris (Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in New York) as Chief Guests.

The first workshop under this Colloquium will take place on 22 & 23 January 2022 and will feature several speakers including Adjunct Professor Kevin Tan (NUS Law) speaking on “Constitutional Histories: The (Im)Possibility of Comparisons”. The 2-day workshop will also feature several other speakers who will address various topics on constitutional law.

The South Asian Research Colloquium (SARC) on Constitutional Law is proudly organised by the Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai (MNLU) in collaboration with the Centre for Asian Legal Studies (CALS), Faculty of Law, National University Singapore, the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and the Indian Law Institute (ILI), New Delhi. Participation in the Colloquium is by invitation only.
