CALS Research Associate Ms Lisa-Marie Madeleine Ross presented her working paper entitled, “Recent Developments of Third Party Joinder in International Arbitration: A Comparative Analysis of Revised Joinder Provisions in Continental Europe and Asia Pacific” this afternoon at the CALS Work-in-Progress Seminar Series (CALS WiP series) via Zoom.

Series coordinator and CALS Research Assistant, Ms Winona Kang, moderated the session which featured comments from paper discussants, Associate Professor Gary Bell (NUS Law) and Associate Professor Christian Hofmann (NUS Law) as Commentators, and an intellectually riveting discussion on the ideas presented. A lively discussion ensued with inputs from CALS members.

The CALS WiP Seminar series is one of CALS’ key events, dedicated to providing CALS researchers (both in-house and visiting) a conducive platform to obtain feedback on their works-in-progress. Participation is usually limited to the CALS community to keep the mood of the presentation casual and friendly, to encourage brainstorming, freewheeling discussion, and frank constructive criticism.
