CALS Book Launch: “Constitutional Law in Malaysia: Text, Cases & Materials”

The Centre for Asian Legal Studies (CALS) celebrated the launch of a two-volume casebook, “Constitutional Law in Malaysia: Text, Cases & Materials” on 17 November 2023 at NUS Law Bukit Timah Campus. This groundbreaking two-volume publication offers a comprehensive and detailed analysis of constitutional law in Malaysia including its underlying constitutional principles and institutions established under the Federal Constitution. We were pleased to have Emeritus Professor Shad Saleem Faruqi (University of Malaya) and Assistant Professor Dian AH Shah (NUS Law) as panellists for the panel discussion. Together with co-authors, Professor Kevin YL Tan (NUS Law) and Associate Professor Jaclyn Neo (NUS Law), they offered engaging insights and perspectives into the Malaysian constitutional law and theory.
