[CALS] Comparative Public Law Speaker Series: An Entrenched Indigenous Voice to the Australian Parliament

On 5 September 2023, CALS hosted constitutional law expert, Professor Asmi Wood (Australia National University), who gave an engaging seminar titled, “An Entrenched Indigenous Voice to the Australian Parliament”. Professor Wood shared a brief legal history that led up to the Referendum on an Indigenous Voice to the Australian Federal Parliament. In his talk, he also discussed public misconceptions of what is to be achieved from the Referendum as well as its importance.

The seminar was moderated by Professor Kumaralingam Amirthalingam (NUS Law).
