The “Legal Complexity and Access to Justice: The Role of Law Simplification” webinar took place earlier this afternoon with the Panel presenting its take on the recent revision of 510 statutes in Singapore. Following a presentation by Ms Jeanne Lee (Chief Legislative Counsel, Legislation Division, Attorney-General’s Chambers), speakers presented their take on the impact of the simplification on access to justice and how these changes to statutory laws affect their interpretation and the practice of law in Singapore.
