[Virtual Roundtable #18] ‘Doing Comparative Criminal Law in Asia: Directions and Challenges’

Virtual Roundtable #18 on “Doing Comparative Criminal Law in Asia: Directions and Challenges” took place last Wednesday afternoon, with CALS Deputy Director Assoc Prof Christian Hofmann presenting opening remarks.
CALS Visiting Research Professor Stanley Yeo was joined by Prof Mrinal Satish (National Law School of India University), Prof Harkristuti Harkrisnowo (University of Indonesia) and Asst Prof Ronnakorn Bunmee (Thammasat University) in the Panel. Moderated by Assoc Prof Cheah Wui Ling (National University of Singapore), the Panel discussed the benefits and challenges associated with employing a comparative approach to the study of Criminal Law in Asia.
