Jeet H. Shroff is an SJD candidate at Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, DC. Having completed the residency requirement for the SJD program, he is now balancing his work as an international arbitration lawyer with his academic interests. He is scheduled to complete the SJD in 2027.
His thesis examines the impact of India’s 1992 economic reforms on the country’s legal architecture, focusing on the enforcement of constitutional rights—particularly socioeconomic rights—on one hand, and private rights through alternate dispute resolution systems on the other.
Jeet earned his primary law degree from Government Law College, Mumbai (2010), and a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School (2013). He has worked as a disputes lawyer for over a decade at law firms in Mumbai, Washington, DC, and Singapore.
